FINE ARTS CLASSES NOW REGISTERING:

Contemporary Dance ~ 2 age level classes offered (see below)

CLASS #1:  Ages 12 through adult ~ 9:00 to 9:50 a.m.

CLASS #2:  Ages 7 through 11 ~ 11:00 to 11:50 a.m.

We are blessed to be offering Modern Dance at Koinos! In Contemporary Dance, students will study the emotion and undertones of music in order to develop a more interpretive dance form.  Contemporary Dance is more story-telling than what is typical of classical dance styles.  Contemporary Dance goes "against the grain" and was actually developed as a rebellion against classical dance, making this dance style fun and free-spirited!  No prior dance experience is necessary.

Our instructor is a homeschooling mother and academic instructor at a local homeschool co-op.  She has a degree in dance from TWU and is a certified dance instructor.  She has taught dance within the public school system, and is a gifted and passionate dancer and choreographer.  We are so blessed to have her join our team this year!
